Bug Repellent

Mosquitos, no-see-ums, and other bugs can be a real pest to you and your family, but many store-bought bug repellants are loaded with harsh chemicals like DEET that are proven to harm the environment. Instead off grabbing the smelly spray-on store-bought repellant, make your own.

Bug Repellent Ingredients

  • 30 drops of Eucalyptus, citriodora
  • 10 drops of Rose, geranium
  • 10 drops of Lavender
  • 10 drops of Peppermint

Mix your concentrate. Add concentrate to 4-oz of your favorite general-use lotion or add 40 to 80 drops concentrate into a 4-oz spray bottle, add a tablespoon of white vinegar or Vodka and add distilled water or a hydrosol like Geranium is excellent. Shake vigorously and spray on yourself and clothing as a bug repellant

Reapply every half hour for strongest effects. This is one bug spray that you’ll want to apply with its fresh, minty, and herbaceous scent.
